All blinds are operated with a gearbox mechanism attached to the top tube. To easily wind up and down, a crank handle is inserted into a slot on the gearbox or they can be motorised for automatic operation.
This method of operations has eliminated the need for ropes and pulleys where ropes can be dangerous when children are present and also unsightly cords hanging can detract from the beauty of these blinds.
All fabric joins are high frequency welded for added strength. Additional components that can be added to the blinds include hooding and zips.
Hooding is a colourbond extrusion that protects the blinds when rolled up, if they are on the outside of your pergola.
Zips eliminate the gaps between blinds so you have a more permanent wind free enclosed area.
Clear blinds are reinforced with coloured pvc fabric to compliment the existing structure.
The privacy blinds come in approximately 15 different colours. These blinds have tiny holes in the fabric so you can still see out and enjoy the view.
The holes are that small they are virtually wind proof and waterproof just like the clear blinds, and with a little air circulation you don’t feel as though you are in a sauna.
